Mary Linn


Mary S. Linn is an Associate Professor of anthropological linguistics at the University of Oklahoma, and Associate Curator for Native American Languages at the Sam Noble Museum of Natural History. Mary was a founding member of the Oklahoma Native Languages Association, which hold seminars, workshops, and conferences in language revitalization throughout that state. She started the Breath of Life - Oklahoma Workshop, and the annual Native American Youth Language Fair at the museum. Mary has partnered with several Tribes in the state to help with language documentation and description, curriculum development, and other issues in revitalizing their languages.
