In October 2010, UT Arlington students assisted with digitization and archiving at the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History in Norman, OK.


Friday October 14, 2011

6:45 am Everyone meets outside Trimble Hall to leave.
7:00 am We leave UTA campus to drive up to Norman, OK
8:30 A.M Coffee break at Starbucks
10:00 am Arrive in Norman, OK at the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History
10:00-12:30 Training for language digitizing and working
12:30-1:30 pm Lunch
1:30-5:00 More language digitizing work

Saturday October 15, 2011

8:45 am Leave for SNOMNH
9:00 am Arrive at SNOMNH and begin work for the day.
11:30-12:30 Tour of SNOMNH as part of a cultural experience!
12:30-1:30 Lunch
1:30-4:30 Resume work on language digitizing
4:30-5:00 pm We leave Norman, OK for Arlington
7:30 pm We arrive back in Arlington
