Connecting with Your Tribal Language

Description: Get to know more about how you can connect or reconnect with your tribal language, bring your language into your family, or teach your language to family or in the community.
Urban Inter-Tribal Center Workshop

Families, grand-parents and youth - all are welcome!

In this Tuesday evening workshop, we invite Native families, children and grandparents -- all who are interested -- to join us to learn how to reconnect with your tribal heritage language. Whether you know a few phrases or just how to introduce yourself, or you grew up speaking your tribal language, we show how you can connect with your language, bring language into the home, or teach your language to family or in the community. We will provide pizza and beverages. We will offer strategies and ideas for those who hunger for their heritage in the tribal language.
here will be Native language door prizes.
