Mechanical engineering alumnus Craig Henry knew his time
spent on UT Arlington’s Formula SAE racing team would serve
him well. Now he has a job most car nuts would die for. Craig
designs the engines in Acura’s American Le Mans Prototype race
cars, visits the pits and talks with some of the world’s best

Grant Supports Additional Medical Monitoring Research
Electrical Engineering Professor J.-C. Chiao and
his associates will further the development of an implantable,
wireless sensor system monitoring gastroesophageal reflux,
thanks to a $200,000 Texas Instruments grant to researchers at
The University of Texas at Arlington and The University of
Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Details
