Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Biological Chemistry majors are invited to apply for
the following scholarships:
2007 TWUA Scholarship
The North
Central Texas Region of the Texas Water Utilities Association (TWUA) sponsors a
scholarship for undergraduate students majoring in the Life Sciences at the

Miller
Scholarship: This Scholarship has already been awarded.
The Miller
Brewing Company has generously funded two scholarships for the 2007-2008
academic year at UT-Arlington. Each scholarship
is worth $10,000, and all Junior and Senior Chemistry, Biochemistry, and
Biological Chemistry majors are invited to apply. Students considering pursuing a career in
Industrial Chemistry are especially encouraged to apply. Please fill out
the Miller
Scholarship Application Form and return it no later than 5:00 PM on Friday,
August 10, 2007. You may either return
it by email (click the link at the top of the document), or you may return it
directly to the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, located in Room 130
of the Chemistry and Physics Building.
John T.
Murchison Endowed Scholarship: This Scholarship has
already been awarded.
All pre-med
Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Biological Chemistry majors are invited to apply
for the John T. Murchison Endowed Scholarship. The Murchison Scholarship
is for $4000, and it will be applied during the 2007-2008 academic year.
Please fill out the Murchison
Scholarship Application Form and obtain at least two recommendation
forms and return them no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, August 10,
2007. You may either return the forms by
email (click the link at the top of the document), or you may return them
directly to the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, located in Room 130
of the Chemistry and Physics Building.
