Welcome from Dr. Leffingwell

Brief Biography

Dr. Leffingwell is a licensed psychologist and an Associate Professor of Education. He has been at the University of Texas at Arlington since 1971. During this time he has been the College of Education’s nominee for Chancellor’s Council Award, the AMOCO Outstanding Teacher Award, the Piper Professor of Texas Award and the U.T.A. Academy of Distinguished Faculty Award. He has served as the Chair of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. Prior to coming to U.T.A., Dr. Leffingwell taught at a community college and was a teacher and counselor in a public high school.
