Students may use a portion of these hours to pursue a
minor but are not required to do so.
Many minors require 18 hours, 6 of which are at the 3000/4000
level. Requirements vary, however, so be
sure to check with the relevant department for its current specifications. If you wish to add a minor, tell your
advisor.
**Remember that at least 36
of the 120 hours required for your major must be from upper-level courses. Be sure to choose enough upper-level elective
courses to satisfy this requirement**
Additional Graduation Requirements
You must meet the computer and
language competency requirements. The
computer requirement is satisfied by PHIL 3307 and the language competency
requirement may be satisfied by verbal participation in philosophy club or in a
philosophy course. See the philosophy
advisor for details.
