The green day geckos (Phelsuma) occur only in the Andaman Islands (green color on the map above) and in the Indian Ocean islands east of Africa and on the Tanzania coast.
The Andaman pit viper (pic 8) occurs in the Andaman Islands only and is supposed to be related to a Myanmar lineage of pit vipers.
The green pit viper (pic 9) occurs in the Nicobar Islands (orange colored islands only), Sumatra, Thailand, Hunan, most of east Indonesia, probably Myanmar and northeast India. A related species/lineage occurs in NE India and Nepal and another related species/lineage occurs some where in Indonesia. (for the non-systematist - every population of a species is potentially a lineage, especially on islands, even if not recognized by a distinct name)
The blotched pit viper (pic 10) is endemic to the Nicobar Islands (the orange islands above)
The Nicobar brown pit viper (pic 23) is endemic to the Nicobar Islands (the orange islands above)
The green agamid lizards Bronchocela (pic 17) occur in the northern Nicobar Islands (the orange islands above) and in Indonesia, Philipines, Malay Peninsula and the Isthmus of Kra (Thailand), probably Myanmar also. The southern Nicobar Islands (blue and purple in the map above) have an endemic species (pic 18).
The endemic agamid Coryphophylax (pic 16) that I studied the past few years occurs in the Andaman and all the Nicobar Islands with the exception of the southernmost island (the blue island)
