exercises will be accepted after that time. No excuses will be
accepted. You are encouraged to submit your exercises early,
especially if you are concerned about being late to class or missing
that day. Think: “Early is on-time; and on-time is late.”

This should
be a 10 page (approximately) paper that analyzes a topic/question of
your choice regarding contemporary Mexican Politics. Your paper
should be analytical, and not simply descriptive. You should
utilize several substantive outside bibliographic resources. You
must utilize some element of quantitative data. You do not need to
apply any statistical analysis beyond frequency tables, but you are
certainly welcome to use any data set relevant to your topic.
