Test One, scheduled for Feb. 20th, will cover all material in chapters 1, 2, 3, 5 and 5 Supplement except for 1) trend-adjusted exponential smoothing, techniques for seasonality and techniques for cycles in chapter 3, and 2) decision trees and sensitivity analysis from chapter 5 Supplement. For the test, you are to bring a photo ID, a 100 question scantron and a calculator. You may use one 8 1/2 by 11 inch sheet of paper with formulas, figures, definitions, etc. on front and back; however, it must be handwritten (not typed nor photocopied). With regard to cell phones, they are not allowed to be used in the class room. Also, if you bring a cell phone, you must place it underneath your chair, it can not be on the desk area or in the chair next to you. Tests will be handed out promptly at 11:00 so be on time. No tests will be given to any student arriving after a student has handed in their test and scantron. Again, I emphasize that you are to be in class by 11:00am. I encourage you to work problems for the text that can be found using the above website link for the text book.

Here is a study aid to assist you in preparing for the final. At the top of the document, you will important information regarding material that will be on the final. The final is on Wednesday, May 7th from 11:00 - 1:30. I do not give tests to students that arrive after another student has handed in their final; thus be on time.
