Photonic Device Group led by Dr. Zhou at the University of Texas at Arlington is constantly looking for highly motivated students to join, such as PhD students or post-doctoral research associates with possible financial support. The desired experiences including general areas of optoelectronic device modeling, design, fabrication and testing. Experience with infrared sensors, optical thin films, microcavities, and photonic crystals are a plus.

Immediate postdoc position available, with desired experience in the areas of chemical engineering, particle synthesis and self assembly processes. A PhD degree in chemistry/chemical engineering, physics, material science and electrical engineering is preferred. Initial appointment is one year, with possible extension, pending on the performance and availability of funding.
