Istiaque Hasan was a PhD student in University of Texas at Arlington starting Fall, 2011. He received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 2007. He worked for one year in 2008 in telecommunication structure construction for CESD Consultants in Bangladesh. He obtained his Masters of Science in Civil Engineering from Louisiana Tech University in 2011. His Masters thesis was on the short term and long term effect of heavy truck loads on Louisiana State Bridges. His research was on nondestructive quantitative evaluation of new and aged concrete structures using Ground Penetrating Radar.
