Amanda Quisenberry,is an undergraduate student in Civil Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington. She is on the fast track program for Masters of Science in Structural Engineering and Applied Mechanics. She is actively involved with the student chapter of American Society of Civil Engineering. She is currently working as an undergraduate student assistant under Dr. Yazdani.
As a member of the Concrete Canoe team, she worked on the design paper along with construction of the canoe and display. In addition, she is currently the President of UTA Chi Epsilon National Honor Society, and responsible for managing the chapter and ensuring they have a successful district conference. She was also a participant of UTA-NSF IRES Site on Hazard Mitigation of Civil Infrastructure 2016 at Polytechnic University of Valencia, Valencia, Spain.
Her research topic was evaluating different alternatives to soil stabilization and their respective costs versus benefits. .
