Summary of grant programs administered through UTA's Scholarship Office:
- Valedictorian - Exemption for Highest Ranking High School Graduate
The highest-ranking graduate from each accredited Texas high school who enrolls at UTA in the fall following high school graduation is eligible for a tuition waiver the freshman year. The certificate authorizing this exemption is given to the student by the high school and must be presented to the UTA Scholarship Office in order to activate the scholarship.
- Top 10% Scholarship Program
Due to limited funding, only renewal awards will be processed for 2017-2018.
- Good Neighbor Scholarship
This scholarship provides tuition waivers for residents of Western Hemisphere nations other than Cuba or the U.S. Application is available online. Deadline to turn in your completed application to the UTA Scholarships Office is April 4, 2018.
