UTA Sustainable Real Estate Team announced as Semi-Finalist in NYU's First Annual Sustainable Real Estate Development Competition
A graduate student competition team from UTA has been announced as a Semi-Finalist in New York University's First Annual Sustainable Real Estate Development Competition, sponsored by the NYU Schack Institute's Center for the Sustainable Built Environment. Semi-finalists have been invited to New York City to present their proposals February 23rd and participate in the awards banquet. Team members include Devin Anderson, Adam Clark, Jared Moise, Jay Orelup, and Seth Williams. Faculty members associated with this competition team were Dr. Russ Peterson and Dr. Fred Forgey, clinical professors in Sustainability and Real Estate. The team's project is an adaptive re-use and redevelopment proposal for the Texas & Pacific Building located in downtown Fort Worth. Competition judging criteria emphasizes the use of sustainability focused initiatives.
