Overview of Resources at the Fort Worth Center
- Fort Worth Center Hours of Operation: Monday - Saturday 8am - 10:30pm
- Front Building Access:
- You must swipe your Mav ID card to gain access from the Jones Street entrance during Building Hours.
- Back Building Access:
- You may enter the door by the guard desk or by the stairwell without swiping your Mav ID during Building Hours.
- You may enter the door by the guard desk or by the stairwell without swiping your Mav ID during Building Hours.
Your Mav ID gives you access to Fort Worth Center front door, back door, library, and exercise room.
- UT Arlington Fort Worth Center students are not required to have a UT Arlington parking permit but should obtain a FREE hangtag from the Fort Worth Center staff. The hangtag is required for parking at the Center or Texas Wesleyan School of Law

- There is a guard on duty during the building hours of Monday - Saturday 8am - 10:30pm. The guard is stationed at the front information desk. The guard is required to make rounds, so there may be times they are not at their desk. If you need immediate assistance, please ring doorbell on 2nd floor next to the Maverick Market.
- The Security Guard is available to escort student to their cars upon request.
- The building is monitored 24 hours a day.
- The exterior building and interior rooms are all monitored on video surveillance.
Library
- Location: Room #126 on the first floor next to the student break room
- Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday 8:00am-10:00pm Saturday 8:00am-9:00pm
- Librarian Hours: Monday – Wednesday 3:00-7:00pm, Thursday 5:00pm-7:00pm, and Saturday 9:00am-1:00pm
- Access: You will swipe your Mav ID card in the reader to the left of the door
- Equipment: 10 PC’s, 2 iMacs, 2 printers, copier, scanner, and fax
- Printing: You will need to swipe your Mav ID card at the computer located next to the printer to activate your print job
- All supplies and equipment are provided for your use in the Library ONLY! These items are not to be removed.

The Maverick Market
- Location: Directly across from the elevator on the second floor
- Hours of Operation: Monday – Thursday 8:30am-9pm, Friday 8:30am-6:00pm, & Saturday 8:00am-3pm.
- Offering organic/natural Fort Worth Center clothing and gear, academic supplies containing recycled materials with the highest percentage of post-consumer waste available, and an assortment of food and drink products

Exercise/Cardio Room
- Location: On the second floor, two doors down from the Market on the right
- Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday 7:30am-10:30pm, Saturday 7:30am-7:00pm, & Sunday Closed.
- Access: Swipe your Mav ID card in the reader and enter 5 digit access code which can be found at www.uta.edu/selfservice
- Equipment: 2 treadmills, 1 elliptical, a multi-station weight machine, and a shower room.

Student Lounge
- Location: Room #123 across from the elevator on the first floor
- Coffee: We (Fort Worth Center) have provided a Flavia coffee machine for students and faculty to use. Each cup of coffee costs $0.50.
- Equipment: 2 Microwaves

Recycling Program
- We have a comprehensive recycling program that includes:
- a recycling center located behind the elevator for papers, plastics, aluminum, batteries, light bulbs, and small electronics.
- the use of recycled and/or organic office, janitorial, and event supplies.
- the use of 100% post-consumer waste paper and soy ink on our stationary and promotional print pieces.
- Each classroom has a large Beige can for trash, a Blue recycle bin for paper, and a small Black bin for plastic/aluminum. Please utilize the containers appropriately.
