WAYS TO GIVE
The generosity of alumni, parents, corporate partners and friends creates boundless opportunities for UT Arlington students to push past the limits and reach for their dreams; for researchers and faculty to make life-enriching discoveries; and for the University to form partnerships with industry, community groups and other educational institutions to create a better society.
Give Now-Annual Giving

Whether you direct your support to the UT Arlington Fund, an individual school or college, a current initiative, a specific scholarship fund or faculty endowment, your gift to The University of Texas at Arlington has an immediate impact.  Learn more about Annual Giving.

Gifts For The Future-Estate Giving

When making changes to your estate plan, UT Arlington encourages you to consider ways to continue the support you have given during your life, though a bequest. There are many options that allow you to support the work of the University while providing for the future of family and friends. You can make a specific bequest of a sum of money or item of property, a percentage bequest of your estate or residue, or a contingent bequest in the event your primary beneficiary is no longer alive. You can also name the University, its colleges, schools, programs or departments as beneficiary of your retirement account or the beneficiary of life insurance. It is even possible to reserve income for life for you during life and for your family members. To find out about different estate gift opportunities, contact the Director of Gift Planning. Through your estate gift, you can say a very generous and tangible “yes” to the future of UT Arlington. Learn more about estate gift opportunities.

Creating an Endowment

Endowments represent a partnership between the donor and the University, a partnership that brings committed educators and inspired students together. Endowed funds are invested, rather than used for immediate needs, to create faculty positions and scholarships for students.  A portion of the investment earnings is distributed regularly to the university; the remainder is added back into the principal, ensuring steady growth of the endowment.   Donors select an area of focus and partner with UT Arlington in ensuring their gift remains an enduing expression of their interest and passion. Endowments which support all areas of UT Arlington can be established through estate gifts as well as outright gifts.  More endowment information.

Gifts In Kind
A beautiful painting.  Specialized equipment or machines.  A personal collection of one-of-a-kind maps or manuscripts.  All of these items, when given to the University as gifts-in-kind, have intrinsic value not only to the donor but to the department or program that receives them.  By definition, gifts-in-kind are non-cash gifts - tangible personal property - that can be put to immediate use by UT Arlington or immediately converted to cash.  If you would like more information about making a gift in kind contribution, contact the Office of Development
