Gift and Estate Planning
When making changes to your estate plan, UT Arlington encourages you to consider ways to continue the support you have given during your life, though a bequest.
There are many options that allow you to support the work of the University while providing for the future of family and friends. You can make a specific bequest of a sum of money or item of property, a percentage bequest of your estate or residue, or a contingent bequest in the event your primary beneficiary is no longer alive.
You can also name the University, its colleges, schools, programs or departments as beneficiary of your retirement account or the beneficiary of life insurance. It is even possible to reserve income for life for you during life and for your family members.
To find out about different estate gift opportunities, contact the Office of Development and Alumni Relations at 817-272-2584. Through your estate gift, you can say a very generous and tangible “yes” to the future of UT Arlington.
