LSHP 4314. LEADERSHIP IN CONTEXT

    Designed to assist Goolsby Fellows to be competent in an intercultural world. The heart of the course is aimed at appreciating human diversity and variance. Regardless of identity group, Fellows are challenged to explore and discover their cultural identity from a values based perspective. Fellows explore strategies and skills necessary to analyze intercultural experiences, events, and dilemmas. Power and privilege are discussed in the context of healthy human development. Beyond passion, the capacity of a leader to contextualize may be the most important skill to possess. This course aims to explore different contexts.
