Governmental Relations

The Office of Governmental Relations facilitates UT Arlington's activities related to all levels of government and looks for opportunities for cooperation and partnerships which will improve the economy, quality of life, and the delivery of services to the nation, state, region and city.

Together, we:

  • Support the University President by serving as the direct point of contact for elected officials, community entities and other external constituents.
  • Serve as a resource for UT Arlington faculty and staff.
  • Assist with issues involving the various agencies and offices.
  • Coordinate with Chambers of Commerce and other community groups on issues related to the University.

This website is the direct result of requests from numerous alumni and other UT Arlington supporters interested in information about UT Arlington's many legislative partnerships. Therefore, your feedback is always welcome so that we can continue to respond efficiently and effectively to the needs of our community.
