Pivot - Search for Funding
Although the Office of Graduate Studies maintains a list of regularly anticipated external dissertation funding opportunities, we encourage those who are seeking funding to conduct their own thorough search for funding. Pivot is an excellent place to begin such a search.
What is Pivot?
Pivot is a comprehensive database of funding opportunities designed for researchers at all stages of their careers. Professionals at ProQuest maintain the database and UT Arlington has a license allowing access to all faculty and students. In addition to easy searchability by field, keyword, or deadline, Pivot also allows researchers to create and update personal profiles, find collaborators for funding applications, and maintain a list of important deadlines. If accessing Pivot from on campus, your IP address will be recognized so no login is necessary. If accessing Pivot from off campus, you will need to do create a Pivot account that links to UT Arlington.
You can access the Pivot homepage by clicking here, or you can dive in by searching for funding in the search bar below.
For tips on how to claim, update, or create your user profile in Pivot, see ProQuest's Pivot channel on Youtube.
