When students are hired as GTA’s and GRA’s what steps do they need to take with Human Resources?
GTA’s and GRA’s need to attend an Employee Records/Benefit Information Session, which are set up for times in August and September for the Fall Semester and times in January for the Spring Semester.
During the session, they will be informed of all of the benefits they will have for having a GRA/GTA title and they will complete all New Employee Paperwork needed to get them in the system and satisfy the federal, state and university compliance rules. These sessions are held at the J.D. Wetsel Service Center, 1221 W. Mitchell, Room 200.
