The University’s Web Standards Committee is requesting all departments to delay any new Web design or re-design plans for the next 8 – 10 months. The University is implementing a Web Content Management System for its Web site which will provide the foundation for simpler and less-costly Web redesigns and updates for all campus departments in the future. BRANDING.
It’s more than using the "A-star" logo. Visual identity is but one aspect of The University of Texas at Arlington’s brand. The University communicates its identity to many audiences in many ways: printed pieces, Web sites, signage, advertising, promotional products and more. When we communicate a consistent identity we reinforce UT Arlington as a comprehensive research, teaching and public service university with leading scholars and outstanding students.
No matter what medium you choose for your communications piece, consider colors, typography, fonts, photography and writing style. All these are part of the UT Arlington brand. In this Communication Guide you'll find the guidelines (or standards that are expected) for producing print and electronic documents, downloadable logos in several formats, a toolbox of templates, resources, the UT Arlington photo gallery, release forms and description of photographic services – everything you need to produce your communications pieces with that consistent identity.
