Little Mavs Moving Academy improves kids’ motor skills

Priscila Caçola, assistant professor of kinesiology, works with a child at the Little Mavs Movement Academy, a free group motor skills intervention program designed to improve the motor skills of 6- to 12-year-olds with movement and coordination difficulties. Little Mavs participate in group activities designed to improve fine and gross motor skills, focusing specifically on body coordination, balance, and manual dexterity.
