Our Medical Clinic is located on the first floor of the Health Center. We have two Board certified family practice physicians, four nurse practitioners, and four registered nurses assigned to the Medical Clinic. These individuals operate out of eight exam rooms. They provide a wide range of urgent care services as well as limited follow-up care for eligible students, faculty and staff.

Access to the Medical Clinic is by appointment only. This is intended to avoid potentially long waiting times experienced under a walk-in system. The Medical Clinic is supported by a highly complex medical laboratory, an X-ray department, and a Class A (retail) pharmacy. Visits to Medical Clinic providers are free of charge. There is a reasonable charge for lab work, X-rays, and pharmaceuticals. The Health Center can only bill student insurance (United Healthcare) or UT Select (faculty/staff) for these charges.

We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. During the Fall and Spring terms, we are open on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. You do not need an appointment for the Saturday Clinic.
