Student Health Advisory Committee

SHAC: The group is composed of students who act as a liaison between Health Services administrators and the UTA student body concerning health care issues. The Committee provides feedback on health-related issues and policies from a student perspective and conduct special events throughout the school year to promote health awareness.

The committee meets the first Wednesday of every month with health care administrators and physicians of UTA Health Services to discuss issues and events. This committee is open to students of all majors, not just health care.
