Collections

The Department of History offers several unique resources and expertise in partnership with UTA Special Collections:

• Cartographic Resources include one of the country's leading collections of historic maps and the University's only professorship involving the History of Cartography, the Jenkins and Virginia Garrett Chair.
• The Maverick Veterans' Voices project records the oral histories of veterans belonging to the UT Arlington community.
• The Texas Disability History Collection includes documents, photos, audio, and video emphasizing the pioneering role played by a racially and ethnically diverse cast of Texan disability rights activists.
