The Honors College Council (HCC) is a student organization which allows Honors College students to have an environment in which individuals of similar goals and ambitions can socialize and work together to serve their campus and community. Every active, enrolled Honors student is a member of the HCC. HCC works in several areas:
Policy: HCC interacts with Honors College administration and staff to provide a student voice in decision-making. HCC affects UTA policies through representatives on UTA's Student Congress.
Programming: HCC plans many events to benefit Honors students and the wider community. These include events which provide a chance for Honors students, faculty, and staff to get together and listen to guest lecturers; and teaming with other Constituency Councils for campus events, including an annual campus-wide event to raise money for a local charity.
