Mandatory Advising for New Honors College Students

Fall Initial Advising

All UTA Honors College students are required to complete initial advising during the semester in which they are admitted to the Honors College.

In accordance with the policy in the Honors College student handbook, any current student who has not completed initial advising by November 4th will be dropped from the Honors College.

How do I attend? Two Choices:

  • Attend a group advising session
  • Schedule an individual appointment

Group Advising Session dates: To be determined

Please note that high school students who have been admitted to the Honors College for the 2014-2015 school year do not need to attend advising until they begin coursework at UTA.
