Mandatory Advising for New Honors College Students
Fall Initial Advising Deadline: All UTA Honors College students are required to complete initial advising during the semester in which they are admitted to the Honors College. You should attend if:
In accordance with the policy in the Honors College student handbook, any current student who has not completed initial advising by December 5th will be dropped from the Honors College. How do I attend? Two Choices:
Group Advising Session dates Monday, Oct 8 at 12 p.m. To register for a group advising session, email advisor Kathleen Hudgins (khudgins@uta.edu). Include your name and the session you would like to attend. Please email at least one day prior to the session you plan on attending. To schedule an individual appointment, email advisor Kathleen Hudgins (khudgins@uta.edu). Please include days and times that you are available to meet. Please note that high school students who have been admitted to the Honors College for the 2013-2014 school year do not need to attend advising until they begin coursework at UTA.
