Honors College Scholarships & Funding Opportunities

New Scholarship Deadline

All Honors College scholarship applications will be due before 5 pm on February 17, 2014. This policy revision supersedes all previous published scholarship deadlines. If you wish to apply for a scholarship, your application must be submitted to the Honors College by February 17, 2014. In order to qualify for an Honors College scholarship, students must be accepted to the Honors College or have submitted an application for membership to the Honors College by February 17, 2014. Admission applications may be submitted on our website: www.uta.edu/honors/apply/.

* Note: Honors College scholarships are separate from UT Arlington Scholarships. Any incoming freshman or transfer student who is accepted to UT Arlington by February 17, 2014 is automatically considered for general academic scholarships. For questions regarding UT Arlington Scholarships, please visit wweb.uta.edu/aao/fao/content/scholarships/.

The Honors Distinction Scholarship

The Honors Distinction Scholarship is the most generous award ever offered to undergraduate students at UT Arlington, providing up to $20,000 per year for up to four consecutive years for education-related expenses. It is merit-based and highly competitive.

The Advanced Placement Future Teachers Scholarship

The Advanced Placement Institute Future Teachers Scholarship was established in 2010 to recognize the dedication and outstanding contributions Advanced Placement teachers have made to middle and high school education. For academic year 2011-12, one award will be made in the amount of $1500.
