Arlington Hall, Kalpana Chawla, and Vandergriff Hall residents are required to select one of the four traditional meal plan options. Residents cannot choose a commuter meal plan.
Meals and Dining Dollars for commuter plans do not carry over from semester to semester. Unused portions of the commuter meal plan are forfeited. With the Traditional meal plans, unused meals do not carry over from semester to semester; however, Dining Dollars carry over from fall semester to spring semester. At the end of the spring semester, all unused Meals and Dining Dollars are forfeited.
The above amounts for the 7-Day Unlimited, 5-Day Unlimited, Limited-190, and Limited-165 Meal Plans include sales tax on the meal plan portions only. Dining Dollars are not subject to sales tax until used. Sales tax rate for Arlington, Texas is 8%.
Dining Dollars can be used at dining locations on campus but are not accepted at the College Park Restaurants. MavMoney is accepted at all dining locations on campus including most of the College Park Restaurants.
No meal service is available Thanksgiving, Winter Semester, Spring Break, and any other official University holidays. The prices stated above are based upon no meal service being provided on official University holidays. Limited meal service (cash, Dining Dollars, or Mav Money) is provided on Labor Day and Martin Luther King Day.
