University Housing provides the best possible housing at a reasonable cost to residents, while at the same time providing more than just the basic physical needs of the apartments, houses, and residence hall rooms.
Our purpose for having residence halls is not simply to provide residents a place to sleep. We are striving to create an environment where emotional, social, cultural, academic and recreational growth and development may be enhanced. Through residence hall programs and activities, this student development concept can be realized. At the same time, residents are provided with guidelines for living in this type of environment. A learning experience should take place which will enable residents to develop a balanced and realistic approach to life after they leave the University. Every effort is made to ensure that residents may exercise their rights, provided they assume the corresponding responsibilities.
It is our purpose in apartment housing to provide a learning experience similar to the residence halls, in a less controlled environment, which will enable residents to develop a balanced and realistic approach to life after they leave the University.
LIVING ON CAMPUS
Students living on campus are more likely to earn higher GPAs, complete degrees on time, and even pursue advanced degrees. Living on campus keeps students connected 24-7 with more access to caring administrators and faculty who understand and are meeting the needs of the students. Get ahead by being close to the resources you need to excel.
