Roommates and Leasing
Having a roommate is a great way to meet people and stay connected to the campus. The University assigns roommates at the Heights on Pecan and Timber Brook. Students may choose their roommate in all other apartments. All chosen roommates must be a UTA enrolled student or an immediate family member (documentation must be provided to support family relationship). Those apartments are leased to one UT Arlington student and that person is responsible for the rent.
Occupancy limits vary by community and are established as follows. Exceptions for immediate family members of the leaseholder are noted below.

LIVING ON CAMPUS
Arlington Hall opened in 2000 and is a co-educational residential facility. With 596 students, it is our largest residence hall and includes amenities like basketball and volleyball courts, multiple study and TV lounges, Wi-Fi, Internet connections in rooms, and cable TV service in the bedrooms and common areas.
Students living on campus are more likely to earn higher GPAs, complete degrees on time, and even pursue advanced degrees. Living on campus keeps students connected 24-7 with more access to caring administrators and faculty who understand and are meeting the needs of the students.
