Roommates and Leasing for By-The-Bedroom Apartments
Having a roommate is a great way to meet people and stay connected to the campus. The Heights on Pecan and Timber Brook are currently our only apartment communities that lease by the bedroom and will match residents with a roommate or roommates if you don’t already have one selected. A by-the-bedroom lease means that each person living in the apartment has his or her own individual lease and is responsible for his or her own rent.
Residents in efficiency or one bedroom units at The Heights on Pecan may choose to share a unit with a spouse or immediate family member. It is important to note that all bedrooms are furnished with one full sized bed in The Heights, and two twin beds in Timber Brook. Four bedroom units have a maximum occupancy of four students.
All square footage and measurements are approximate. Rates shown are effective August 01, 2016. Rates quoted are subject to approval. Rates are subject to change without notification.
Rubbing Hereford's Head
Legend has it that students will perform better on tests if they rub the head of E.H. Hereford’s statue on the first floor of the University Center.
LIVING ON CAMPUS
Students living on campus are more likely to earn higher GPAs, complete degrees on time, and even pursue advanced degrees. Living on campus keeps students connected 24-7 with more access to caring administrators and faculty who understand and are meeting the needs of the students.
