Arlington Hall
Arlington Hall opened in 2000 and remains one the favorite places to live on campus! It is a co-educational residential facility and our largest residence hall with 596 students. Arlington Hall is located close to the Business Building, the UTA Bookstore, the E.H. Hereford University Center and much more. Arlington Hall has many great amenities, from the basketball and volleyball courts, to the multiple study and TV lounges. Arlington Hall also has Wi-Fi connection throughout the hall, Internet connections in the room and Cable TV service in the bedrooms and common areas.
Room Type
Arlington Hall offers two room types to fit your preferences and price ranges. Most of the rooms in Arlington Hall are Private Suites. These rooms include three single bedrooms and a shared living room and bathroom area. The other room type is a Double Room, which is one bedroom and bathroom that two residents share.
Room Features
All bedrooms in Arlington Hall include a twin extra-long bed, a desk and chair, a chest of drawers and a closet. The common spaces in the Private Suites include a couch, a chair, a coffee table, and one end table. All Arlington hall rooms come with a refrigerator for the roommates to share.
Hall Staff & Involvement
Arlington Hall has an outstanding residence life staff of a Residence Director, Graduate Residence Director, Resident Assistants, and Office Assistants. The RAs are responsible for developing a positive atmosphere throughout the building. They plan a number of programs and activities to enhance the residents' time here and allow them to meet other residents living in the building. Our Office Assistants staff our hall desk Monday through Friday beginning at 10am and the weekends at noon and are available to check out equipment or help if a resident gets locked out of their room. The Residence Director and the Graduate Residence Director, as the professional staff of the building, are here to support the residents and the staff.
Residence hall living can be one of the best parts of your college experience, so it is highly recommended that residents take advantage of all that Arlington Hall has to offer to those who want to get involved. From working with our Hall Council or Residence Hall Association (RHA), to playing on one of our intramural teams and participating in hall programs, Arlington Hall offers something for everyone.
