UT Arlington is concerned about each student's overall well-being while enrolled here. As such, our campus provides an on-campus health clinic that meets the normal, day-to-day health needs of our students. University of Texas at Arlington provides students with quality, accessible, comprehensive, and cost-effective primary health care. In addition to a general medicine clinic, Health Services houses a pharmacy, laboratory, radiology department, counseling and psychological services, women’s health clinic, immunization clinic, and a health promotion and substance abuse prevention office.
The transition into university life can often be difficult for students. The UT Arlington Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is committed to helping students meet their full personal, academic, and career potential. Services are available to help students increase their understanding of personal issues, address mental and behavioral health problems, and make positive changes in their lives.

Immunizations
All new incoming students must follow instructions for the new meningitis vaccination requirement. For information regarding University of Texas at Arlington's required immunizations, procedures, and submission process, please see the Office of Records and Registration's guidelines.

Mental Health
Services are available to help students increase their understanding of personal issues, address mental and behavioral health problems, and make positive changes in their lives. UT Arlington's CAPS office provides services that include individual, couples and group counseling, psychiatric and psychological evaluation and assessment, diagnosis, treatment and referral.
UT Arlington's mental health services also provides treatment and assistance to students with serious and persistent mental illness and children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances. Treatment is comprehensive and directed toward stabilization in the home, workplace, and community.

Immunization Clinic Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (closed 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.)
Pharmacy Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (closed one hour for lunch)
Saturday and Sunday: Closed
