Summer Move-In

Move-In Day



Move-in day for Summer 1 and Summer 11 will be on Sunday June 4, 2017. Summer 2 move-in day will be July 11, 2017. The residence halls will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 

To check in, go to your assigned Residence Hall and visit the front desk first before bringing any belongings in. Once the check-in process is complete, you may move any personal belongings to your new room. 

Room numbers will be provided at check-in on the move-in date.  Residence Hall students must have their Mav ID Card and PIN number to check-in.  If you are moving into Arlington Hall, you may find your PIN by logging onto www.uta.edu/selfservice and selecting "View information about your accounts."  For more information about Mav ID Cards, contact Mav Express at (817) 272-2645.



See the Move-In Checklist for a complete list of what you can and cannot bring to your new Residence Hall.  Each room is fully-furnished, including a bed, mattress, desk, chair, dresser drawers, closet space, shelving, blinds, waste basket, TV service line, and wireless Internet connection. Private suites in Kalpana Chawla and Arlington Hall include living room furniture. All double rooms and suites in Arlington Hall feature one mini-refrigerator. All Residence Halls include free, unlimited laundry.  

Meningitis Immunization law

First-time and transfer students under 22-years of age must fully comply with the Meningitis Immunization Law and related university policies AT LEAST TEN (10) DAYS BEFORE the contract start date, or they will not be allowed to move into campus housing as scheduled.  To comply, either proof of vaccination or an applicable waiver must be submitted to Magnus Health SMR.
