TITLE: Official title as approved in the University Pay Plan.

CODE: Four-digit number assigned to the title.

FUNCTION: Provide overall information explaining the primary purpose of the position in terms of why it exists and what it is to be accomplished.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Expand on the following functions that are applicable to the position: Participates in long and short range planning processes. Monitors and evaluates results and adjusts plans as necessary. Organizes, coordinates, manages and directs the day-to-day operations of assigned areas. Administers budgets; carries the full range of personnel management responsibilities for assigned employees; develops and administers policies and procedures; advises and consults with administration and management regarding plans, issues, and problems associated with assigned area; plans, attends and/or represents the University in meetings; maintains effective relationship with external, regulatory, and funding bodies as required, ensures compliance with applicable University policies and local, state, and federal requirements.
