PURPOSE: To provide administrative and professional nursing skills for a designated patient care area and to coordinate assigned nursing personnel. Responsible for managing and coordinating various activities necessary to the maintenance of an efficient patient care program.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinates and directs the daily patient care operation of the division. Analyzes workload and skill requirements to meet patient care need. Outlines and communicates nursing policy and procedures. Employs nursing personnel and keeps time sheets of nurses. Assess staff competencies and makes patient care assignments on a rotating basis. Supervises ordering of supplies needed for nursing. Prepares and maintains various records and reports. Performs related duties as required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: $education
REQUIRED EDUCATION-OTHER: Bachelor's degree in nursing and current Texas license.
