PURPOSE: To provide information to students concerning admissions and records requirements and procedures. To inform students regarding admissions eligibility. Responsible for examining and processing applications for graduate and undergraduate admissions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To evaluate graduate or undergraduate transcripts. Counseling present and prospective students concerning their credits, admission status and eligibility issues. Examines graduate student files for completeness. Check for official GRE or GMAT scores and foreign student's TOEFL scores. Notify students of incomplete grades. Prepare worksheets from transcripts and include conditions not met for admission. Figure grade point average on advanced course work. Notify students of final recommendations. Answers inquiries from graduate advisors and prospective students. Train new employees. Performs related duties as required. Assists in preparation of official University report on the enrollment of graduate students.
