PURPOSE: To provide for the distribution and maintenance of all athletic equipment. Responsible for coordinating the use of athletic equipment throughout various areas of the University and for ensuring that all equipment meets acceptable safety standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinates and conducts functions of storage, maintenance, repair, security cleaning and issuance of all athletic/physical education equipment and maintains inventory of said equipment. Confirm the equipment needs for each class and assists in selection and purchasing of equipment. Maintain and supervise instructional or practice activity areas, provides for locker room management, issues billing for lost items, supervises all student attendants. Enforces rules and regulations. Explains use and care of equipment and facilities to users. Performs related duties as required. Assists in development and implementation of policies and procedures related to areas of responsibility.
