PURPOSE: To provide supervision of student center building, student activities and other events in the student center building. Responsible for insuring efficiently run events and meetings. Supervise overall maintenance and upkeep of building.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for overseeing events in the University Center, including clean and set up rooms, place tables and chairs as needed, set up stage. Inspect building for needed maintenance and complete work orders. Purchase supplies for area and reconcile procard accounts. Allow access to contractors as needed. Supervise and schedule student employees. Performs related duties as required. Make requests for supplies.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: REPORTS TO: General instructions from Assistant Director. SUPERVISION: N/A SUPERVISION-OTHER: Supervise of student part-time help.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: $education

REQUIRED EDUCATION-OTHER: High school graduate.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES-OTHER: REQUIRED EXPERIENCES/COMPETENCIES: One year OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Proficiency required in all phases of work performed. Working conditions considered acceptable, but involve walking, standing, lifting and exposure to one or more disagreeable elements such as dust, poor ventilation, cold or heat. Specific job requirements or physical location of positions allocated to this classification render the position security sensitive and thereby subject to the provisions of Section 51.215 Texas Education Code.
