PURPOSE: To perform specialized duties in one or more major areas of outreach for Career Services and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with various employers. Assists the Coordinator of University Career Services in developing and maintaining employer relationships; coordinating campus recruitment, employer showcases, and supporting other career programming undertaken by the unit.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This individual will be assisting in the development, planning and managing of a corporate recruiting program to increase full-time employment opportunities for graduating students; and to develop internship opportunities for other UTA students. The staff member will assist in the planning and implementation of fall and spring employer showcases in conjunction with appropriate academic liaisons. This person reports to the Coordinator of University Career Services and participates in the development and maintenance of an innovative employer relationship program which includes travel for site visits and other marketing efforts. This person will have the ability to support in the development of marketing strategies to reach out to employers, students, and academic departments. The staff member is expected to evaluate current procedures and practices by maintaining accurate records and statistical information on all employers. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION-OTHER: Bachelor's degree in human relations, communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
