PURPOSE: To provide entry-level professional counseling skills in the fields of psychology and social work. Responsible for general counseling of students and other clients in routine personal, educational, vocational and related problems.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Counsels and assists students with personal, academic, or financial problems. Assists in administering vocational or personality tests. Interprets test results. Offers career counseling to students. Advise students on the choice of academic pursuits. Maintains responsibility for various office programs. Performs related duties as required. Works on special projects as assigned by department chairperson.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: $education
REQUIRED EDUCATION-OTHER: Bachelors degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or related field.
