PURPOSE: To provide knowledge, advice and counseling skills regarding the institutional student graduation process. Responsible for advising counseling and for all aspects of routine and non-routine graduation policy and procedure requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Counsels students on graduation requirements, deficiencies in grade points and various problems. Determines that degree requirements are fulfilled for graduation as well as verifying that candidates meet honors designation requirements. Process all undergraduate degree plans and applications for graduation Issues permits for early Registration t qualifying seniors. Informs Deans and departments interpretation, requirements; substitutions and waivers of particular degree plan activities. Keeps abreast of changing state and catalogue regulations concerning degree plans. Enter student status on computerized degree audit system. Compose routine correspondence, orders and inspects diplomas. Assists in arranging undergraduate commencement exercises. Prepare reports and survey questionnaires. Performs related duties as required.
