PURPOSE: To plan, supervise and direct the student development program in a large residence hall or residential complex. Responsible for supervising the administrative tasks related to the operation of the residence hall or residential complex.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Plans and supervises student life activities of residential units. Assigns duties to student development staff. Conducts staff orientations. Promotes student government. Promulgates and implements rules and regulations governing residence hall life. Counsels with individuals and groups of residents. Works with the Director of Residence life and Conference Housing in planning activities and administering the residential program. Assists with summer programs as assigned. Performs related duties as required. Hears student disciplinary appeals. Inspects residential facilities and recommends needs to the Director of Residence life and Conference Housing. Assists in the collection of delinquent rent, guest fees and damage assessments.

REQUIRED EDUCATION-OTHER: Bachelor's degree in guidance, student personnel, or a related field.
