PURPOSE: To provide assistance in the compilation and preparation of materials for publication. Responsible for gathering data from various sources and for preparing materials for publication in one of the social science or humanities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs general library research and statistical work in compiling material to be used in publications Assists in research and the preparation of articles for publication. Conducts research by correspondence or personal interviews for materials unavailable in the library of the University Performs related duties as required. Establish and maintain public contacts in the field of specialization.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: REPORTS TO: Close supervision by faculty members, administrative officers, or senior Social Science/Humanities Research Associates. SUPERVISION: N/A SUPERVISION-OTHER: None.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: $education

REQUIRED EDUCATION-OTHER: Bachelor's degree with major course work in the field of assignment.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES-OTHER: REQUIRED EXPERIENCES/COMPETENCIES: None. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: None. Proficiency in all phases of the duties performed. Excellent.
