PURPOSE: To perform specialized research and prepare materials for publication. Responsible for gathering and interpreting data and preparing materials for publications in the field of social science and humanities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists in developing original research from primary sources. Formulates research methods and designs a plan for collecting and analyzing information. Collects and compiles data, Edits research papers and devises questionnaires. Performs quantitative analyzations of data and prepares reports. Prepares articles and speeches. Plans and directs work of recording and interpreting data. Performs bibliographical research. Performs related duties as required. Answers inquiries, Reads current periodicals, Assists with special problems, Catalogues and evaluates collections and library acquisitions.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: $education
REQUIRED EDUCATION-OTHER: Master's degree with major course work in the field of assignment or Bachelors degree with two years of experience.
