PURPOSE: To provide highly technical skills in the construction, installation, operation and maintenance of electronic systems. Responsible for the ability to operate, overhaul, and repair various types of electronic systems.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs preventive and corrective maintenance of electronic equipment. Orders supplies necessary to effect repair of equipment. Issues supplies and equipment to students for laboratory exercises and project construction. Instruct students in the use of technical reference material and practical aspects of circuit construction. Must be familiar with microcomputers and installation of associated software. Responsible, for the design, execution, and effectiveness of a system of internal controls, which provides reasonable assurance that operations are effective and efficient, assets, and safeguards, financial information is reliable, and applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures are complied with. Performs all related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: $education
REQUIRED EDUCATION-OTHER: High school graduation or 3 years of experience including one year of electrical experience.
