PURPOSE: To provide maintenance and administration of the Space Inventory System along with assisting with providing the necessary statistical reports to UTA departments, UT System and the necessary state and federal agencies. Responsible for assisting in the planning and production of space management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Organize preliminary Space Inventory Statistics for coding and data entering. Demonstrates accuracy in all square footage calculations used in the Space Inventory System. Audits each building and compiles information on the equipment and other features of the spaces at the university. Assists in the production of floor plans illustrating the use of each space at the University of Texas Arlington campus. Measures spaces, audits space usage and gathers required information on the use of campus space for completion of the Texas Higher Education Facilities database. Uses CAD programs to draw or modify drawings of the campus floor plans as required. Performs related duties as required

REQUIRED EDUCATION: $education

REQUIRED EDUCATION-OTHER: Bachelor's degree.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES-OTHER: REQUIRED EXPERIENCES/COMPETENCIES: Two years experience including working with CAD programs, databases and reading architectural drawings. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of standard office equipment. Required in all phases of work. General office conditions.
